Greenfield, Ind. – Liz Alig’s winter collection of vintage-inspired dresses will be showcased exclusively at Faith Boutique Collections in the Keystone Fashion Mall this holiday season.
As part of the ever growing eco-fashion movement, Liz Alig dresses are created from 100 percent recycled materials. For instance, cocktail dresses are handcrafted by reworking vintage textiles into one of a kind pieces. “Many times, fabrics that are only considered ‘old clothes’ present great patterns and textures for vintage style dresses,” said designer, Elizabeth Roney, an Indianapolis native who founded Liz Alig in May 2009.
Liz Alig promotes eco-friendly and ethical procedures in every area of production. As part of this passion, several of the dresses for the winter collection were sewn by women of low income in Honduras. Ten percent of the sales for the ollection will go back to the women’s communities to support skills and vocational training for others.
