Could you please repeat the websites for getting taken off catalog mailings on a regular basis, maybe once a year? We registered a long time ago and were doing great until we bought something online, and now are getting bombarded again with catalogs. Thanks, Phil

Dear Phil,

I’m glad you asked. Catalog Choice has added to their service. Now there’s an app for that!

I just recently used the MailStop Envelope to stop 15 unwanted catalogs and solicitations from being delivered to our new home. It’s simple – the service and supplies cost $6.75. You just remove the address page of each catalog, slip it in the MailStop Envelope, return it to Catalog Choice, and their opt-out experts will take care of the rest.

If you have an iPhone, now you can download the app for no charge, take a picture of the junk mail through the MailStop App and voila – it’s in the trusted hands of Catalog Choice.

The Environmental Protection Agency reports Americans receive close to five million tons of junk mail every year. Catalog Choice has helped more than one million people opt-out of nearly 20 million pieces of junk mail.
