The Indianapolis City Market is now accepting submissions for their fall-themed cookbook “Harvest Market Cooking.” The cookbook will contain recipes featuring fall produce such as apples, beets, greens, mushrooms, squash, and everybody’s favorite, pumpkin. There will be four distinct recipe categories: dinner, dessert, drinks, and dog treats.
Submissions may be dropped off in the Market at one of the Halloween decorated drop boxes or on the City Market webpage under “Contact Us.” The drop boxes will be scattered throughout the Market starting Monday, Sept. 24 and will remain up until Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Cooks of all skill levels are encouraged to submit recipes—and there is no limit to the number of recipes submitted. In addition to submissions from locals, the cookbook will also include recipes from City Market merchants, Original Farmers’ Market vendors, and Indianapolis restaurateurs. The cookbook will be available on October 31st on the City Market website as an electronic download.
