The Office of Lt. Governor Becky Skillman is seeking nominations for the 2012 AgriVision Award. The annual award honors Hoosier visionaries whose efforts have brought significant advancements to Indiana’s agricultural sector — whether though technological innovation or modes of business and production.
Any Indiana resident is eligible to be nominated by his/her peers, with past Agrivision Award recipients ranging from agroindustry executives to university scholars. The ceremony will take place on Farmer’s Day, Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the Indiana State Fair. Applications are due by July 1, 2012.
